I'm a sucker for convenience.

And anyway I can be just a little more lazy works for me. Take email for instance. For the last 3 weeks I've had an auto-reply set on my work email account that rotates between about 8 different responses if the recipient is one of, oh, 10 people. These folks are regulars, and while they always want to be the first ones fixed, their problems never quite reach the level of crisis that they believe them to be. I do reply to these emails, eventually.

Now I'm not really being a bad guy here <begin rationalization process>. If they were to write an email to the correct email address, which I've told them about (in person, phone message, email and even paper fricken' memo) I'd respond as soon as I see the email. But no. Instead they email me at a spam trap address I have or at my non-I-screwed-up-my-computer email address.

Anyway, there are some good guys at work. They're just too busy worrying about protecting their own hides to let people know how they feel.
